MASTER WEAVER is one of the company promoters of Nepal’s only ecologically sound carpet washing plant, Nepal Eco Washing (NEW) at Bhaktapur. NEW is a Nepal-Swiss joint venture featuring international standard waste water effluent treatment system, in technical collaboration with Dr. Hans P. Knecht of Advanced Rug Consulting, Switzerland. With the effluent treatment the groundwater used up for pre-washing carpets is not only free from all the residues of the cleaning modems but is also life sustainable.
